🌟 Exciting News: 2024 BodyStories Summer Intensives Are Here! 🌟
This summer, step into a world where dance and creativity converge at the BodyStories Summer Intensives. Experience a unique blend of movement and artistic expression under the guidance of Teresa Fellion, alongside amazing BodyStories company members and distinguished guest artists.
Here’s What’s in Store:
Diverse Curriculum: Explore a variety of classes such as technique, improvisation, interdisciplinary labs, independent studies, and composition, all under the mentorship of experienced artists.
Share Your Art: The program culminates in a live showing where participants will display the skills and creativity honed during the intensive. Participants will also have the chance to join a BodyStories company performance at MAR+RC and in New York City this September!
Rich Experience: Participate in enriching discussions, learn from guest lectures, receive valuable feedback, and bond with peers during group outings.
Dates & Locations:
New York City Intensive:
When: August 5-6
Where: Offered both in-person in NYC and online via Zoom
Cost: $100 for both days, $60 for one day
Middlebrook Arts Research + Residency Center Intensive:
Dates: August 8 – 11, 2024
Arrival Evening of August 8, Daily Schedule August 9-11:
Interdisciplinary LAB: 10:00 am – 10:45 am
Technique: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Improvisation + Composition: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Diverse Evening Activities Daily!
Where: Offered both in-person at MAR+RC and online via Zoom
Cost: $225 for the full in-person intensive, $180 for the full virtual intensive, and $20 per drop-in class
Optional Housing: $40 per night

How to Register:
Spaces are limited, whether you’re joining us in person or online. To enroll, email education@bodystoriesfellion.org. You can register for the entire program, select specific days, or choose drop-in classes. Please note: Registration for drop-in classes requires a 24-hour notice to accommodate all participants.
