We’re thrilled to be part of the 2024 Music and More series hosted by the Jefferson Historical Society at the Maple Museum in Jefferson, NY! This annual series gathers artists from across New York to create a memorable evening for the Jefferson community, and we’re honored to return after a fantastic experience last year!
This year, we are coming with a 5-person work that is a brand new premiere! We are so excited to bring our newest work p u r p l e f l a m e to Jefferson! We shared an excerpt of the piece in Italy this past summer and have been developing it this year. We can’t wait to present the full-length work to you all and receive your feedback!
p u r p l e f l a m e is a work that explores the strength of human resilience through the perspective of an individual and of a community more broadly. The choreographic inspiration for this work arose within a free movement rehearsal space. In p u r p l e f l a m e, fluidity and buoyancy act as thematic anchoring points as dancers allow themselves to fall freely through space. The work investigates personal intuition and group support, illustrating the depth and complexity of each person’s lived experiences and state of being.
This event is free and open to everyone, and we’d love to see you there!
