In 2025, we served over 600 movers and audience members of all ages through 20 dance and social justice workshops across Goddard Arts, SUNY Old Westbury, MAR+RC, and Middlesex College. We’ve inspired meaningful dialogue with 7 powerful performances across the NYC-metro area, and shared BodyStories’ inclusive movement philosophy on our first-ever North Dakota tour/ teaching, choreographic, performance residency.

Ensuring competitive compensation for our dancers. A 2024 study by Dance Magazine showed that 41% of dancers worked without pay in the last year. Your support helps us challenge harmful industry standards by continuing to offer competitive rehearsal and performance rates.
Expanding our scholarship programs for movers of all ages and backgrounds, developing educational and community engagement efforts to reach underserved populations.
Establishing a regional arts hub at Middlebrook Arts Research + Residency Center by offering funded residencies for artists and robust community programming
