BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance is so excited to participate in NYC DOT’s Car Free Earth Day event! We will be performing a selection from our newest work, Continually Healing. Continually Healing focuses on the mental distress cause as a result of the pandemic and social justice events of 2020/21. This work aims to explore the frustration cause by the isolation and separation from loved ones, and intends to speak to traumas and healings experienced by a diverse range of individuals throughout the pandemic. Stories are extremely varied, yet our work seeks to uncover universal truths through a shared artistic experience. We will also be teaching a community dance workshop for all ages and levels. We will be focusing on exciting movement, restrengthening, reinvigorating, and moving our bodies. Participants will leave feeling rejuvenated and back in tune with themselves. This workshop will be a fun way for families and individuals to come together and dance, while celebrating our love for the environment. Join us for a fun, upbeat celebration in the streets!
