The two-act ballet is an illumination of the lives of three beloved saints: Teresa of Avila, Sebastian Martyr and Francis of Assisi. The original orchestra score and the chorus, composed by New Orleans-based Tucker Fuller, merited a Gambit award. Book of Saints is also accompanied live by the New Resonance Chamber Orchestra and Krewe de Voix Chamber Choir with the stellar dancers of Marigny Opera Ballet.
Teresa will be returning to New Orleans this March for final rehearsals and tech for this show at MOB. The full-length choreography for Book of Saints, commissioned by Marigny Opera Contemporary Ballet, won the Best of New Orleans 2018 Gambit Award for Best Dance Presentation for this original work.

Teresa will also be teaching company classes at Marigny Opera Ballet and at schools in and near New Orleans throughout the month of March. We hope to see some of you there! Classes will be taught at University of Southern Mississippi, Live Oak Academy, and others to be announced soon!
