ODDFEST October 2, 2026
We’re excited to share that BodyStories will be part of ODDFEST 2026, presented by One Day Dance, this Saturday!
ODDFEST 2026 is an afternoon of short dance films from artists working across choreography and cinema, including solos, duets, ensemble pieces, and narrative work. Each film approaches movement differently, offering audiences a wide view of what dance made for the screen can be.
BodyStories will be screening HOME, a ritualistic exploration of one’s search for home. Through encounters, communication, and understanding of self and others, the film follows a stormed yet intriguing journey, from off-centered to centered, syncopated to calm. Dancers emerge as distinct individuals, their psychological responses propelling movement through isolation, nurturing, tantrums, and rebuilding, building toward a ceremonial procession of frames, a coming home, a common ground.
